the us indices – dow jones , nasdaq and s & p 500 all had a big crash today ..the tech heavy nasdaq fell almost 5 %

looks like wall street had a party going on which was disconnected from the main street ..

crypto currencies – bitcoin , etherium also crashed against the us dollar

although the jobless claims for the week came in less than 1 million , the market crashed .. looks like some profit taking .. people taking some money off the table …

while corrections are good , one of such large magnitude implies heavy selling from the big players

big falls are known to trigger margin calls and people will sell other investments ( gold , silver , platinum etc) to cover it .

so is there a correction in precious metals coming ?
