it is the difference in cost of the same thing in two different places

for example , the cost of a SAP programmer in the US would be USD 150,000 dollars per annum

whereas the same in a place like India would be USD 40,000 dollars per annum

so , by outsourcing to India , the cost savings would be USD 110,000 dollars per annum
