are we getting digital currencies with govt. support soon ?

most of the digital currencies that we know of.. bitcoin ,etherium gathered steam after the 2008 sub-prime financial crisis.

and now we have the covid 19 financial crisis … which is causing governments to print currency like no other crisis before

and now that we have figured out that the virus stays on currency notes for a long time ( some say 4 weeks ) , there might be a revolution coming .. digital currencies .. approved by the government

already applications like phone pe , paytm , google pay , amazon pay , apple pay are gathering steam .. we won’t be surprised if there is a small tax added by the government to shore up it’s revenues .. the amount would be too small to be noticed but the sheer volume of these transactions could bring in some money into the government’s coffers
