is the next decade a commodities decade ?

germany talked about investing a lot of money into the renewable / sustainable energy over the next 10 years

solar power , wind power could be used for adding to the power grids , along with the current power sources

batteries that provide power when solar and wind power is not available – australia has the world’s largest battery power source – created by tesla ..

the batteries generally consist of nickel .. as one of the key components

solar panels uses silver as one of the components

electric vehicles , which over the next 10 – 20 years would replace oil based combustion engines , also need silver

so there will be a commodities boom over the next 10 – 20 years as some or all of the countries move to a cheaper , more abundant and natural energy and become carbon neutral ..

rain water harvesting , water recycling companies could also see a boom over the next 10 – 20 years

carbon trading could get a boom and the value of carbon units could go up …

a good book to read about commodities would be … hot commodities by jim rogers
