the bad news continues …

aug 27 2020 … the bad news just keeps on coming ..

• usa unemployment claims top 1 million (again) for the past week ..
• the previous quarter contraction was more than 31 % in the us
• there is no sign of stimulus in the congress yet .. means the next quarter numbers could be even worse ..
• the politicians really are fiddling while america is burning … ( remember the emperor nero fiddled too while rome burnt … )

federal reserve said today that they will keep the interest rates zero for as long as it takes for the economic recovery …
