the following are some technical analysis tips that work in any country , on any stock

if the 50 day simple moving average crosses the 200 day simple moving average and goes UP – it is a BUY signal – it is called the golden cross

if the 50 day simple moving average crosses the 200 day simple moving average and goes DOWN – it is a SELL signal – it is called the death cross

there are continuation patterns – e.g. Flag up , Flag down – they indicate that the previous move ( up or down ) will continue and you can estimate the amount of UP or DOWN move based on some simple calculations.

there are reversal patterns – e.g. Head and Shoulders , Inverted Head and Shoulders which indicate that the strength in the previous move is losing strength and the move is about to reverse.
